An AI receptionist that books your patients in Hindi

Every missed call is a missed patient

Clinics run on the phone. Patients call to ask about timings and fees, to describe what is wrong, and to book a visit. The front desk is busy with the patients already in the room, and after hours nobody answers at all. Each call that rings out is a patient who books somewhere else.

We built an AI voice agent that answers the way a good receptionist does. It speaks Hindi naturally, works out why the patient is calling, answers their questions, and books the appointment, then confirms everything before it hangs up.

What happens on the call

The video above is a live demo call, set up for a sample dental clinic. In about a minute and a half, the agent:

• Greets the caller in Hindi and asks how it can help
• Understands the problem, a lower tooth that has hurt for two or three days, and suggests the right doctor
• Answers questions about clinic timings and the consultation fee, and explains that treatment costs follow the check-up
• Checks the slot the caller asks for, tomorrow at 7:30 pm, and confirms it is free
• Takes the patient's name and mobile number, and reads the number back to make sure it is right
• Confirms the booking with the doctor's name and time, and lets the patient know a WhatsApp confirmation is on its way
• Asks if there is anything else, and closes the call politely

Why it feels like talking to a person

• It speaks the patient's language, Hindi or Hinglish, at a natural pace
• It follows the clinic's own rules: which doctor sees which problem, the timings, the fees
• It confirms the details that matter, such as the time and the phone number, before it books
• It is connected to the clinic's calendar, so a slot it offers is a slot that is really free
