Rahiseva

No surge. The rider names the fare, the driver agrees.

Two connected apps, one for riders and one for drivers, where the fare is a conversation instead of an algorithm.

A walkthrough of the Rahiseva customer and driver apps. Trips, names and amounts shown are sample data.

The fare is a conversation

Most ride apps set the price for you, and when demand rises, so does the surge. Riders feel overcharged, and drivers have no say in what a trip is worth to them. Rahiseva works the other way round: the rider sees a fair, distance-based estimate, names the fare they want to pay, and drivers decide whether to take it, or talk it through.

We designed and built Rahiseva as two connected apps, one for customers and one for drivers, sharing a single trip record, so both sides always see the same status and the same agreed amount.

Book the trip, your way

One booking form covers every kind of trip: one way, round trip, local rentals and airport transfers. Live location search fills in pickup and drop as you type, and the rider picks a cab class and adds any requirements in a note.

No surge. Name your fare.

Rahiseva shows a price calculated from the distance of the route, with no hidden multiplier. The rider can go with that price, or set their own and send it to drivers. Tolls, parking and state tax are shown separately, so the number on the table is clear.

Your offer, on every driver's screen

In the driver app, live requests appear with everything a driver needs to decide: the full route, the cab class, the distance, the date and time, and the rider's offered amount. A driver can accept straight away, or open a chat to discuss it.

They talk. The price moves.

Rider and driver negotiate in one shared thread that both apps see in real time. Either side can propose a new price from inside the chat, and when both agree, the fare is set for the trip. In the walkthrough, a ₹700 offer for an early airport pickup is agreed at ₹800 in a few messages.

Requested. Confirmed. Booked.

Once both sides agree, the trip moves from requested to confirmed to booked, and the agreed amount is locked. Both apps read the same trip record, so there are no surprises at pickup or at the end of the ride.

Everything, in two apps

  • Four trip types: one way, round trip, local and airport, in a single form
  • Set your own fare, or take the distance-based estimate
  • Live negotiation between rider and driver, in one shared chat
  • Twelve cab classes, from hatchback through to the premium end
  • One trip record, with identical status on both apps from start to finish
  • A transparent total: the agreed amount, with tolls and taxes shown separately

What we built

  • Product design for both apps, from booking to confirmation
  • A customer app and a driver app, connected to one shared backend
  • Real-time chat and price negotiation between rider and driver
  • Location search, distance-based pricing and trip management
  • A single source of truth for every trip, so both apps always agree
